Terms
The terms of use for this website, and the terms of service for the Autonautics Lite platform.
Last updated: 8 October 2026
1. Who we are
Autonautics Lite is a fleet-management platform run by Anstel Private Limited (CIN U72900HR2016PTC077620, registered office 3rd Floor, Plot No. 786, Phase V, Udyog Vihar, Sector 19, Gurugram, Haryana 122016), a company incorporated in India ("Anstel", "we", "us"). Autonautics Lite is a division of Anstel Private Limited, not a separate company.
These terms cover:
- the website at www.autonautics.in and every page under it ("the website"); and
- the platform: the Autonautics Lite web app at lite.autonautics.in, the addresses we set up for our clients and partners (for example
yourcompany.lite.autonautics.inor a client's own domain), its mobile app, its API and its emails, alerts and reports ("the platform").
By using the website, or by signing up for or using the platform, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, if you sign up for a business, on behalf of that business ("you"). If you do not agree, do not use them.
A signed agreement comes first. If your business has a signed agreement with Anstel (for example a pilot agreement, an order form or a partner agreement), that agreement takes precedence over these terms where the two differ.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, and forms part of these terms.
2. Using this website
Age. You must be at least 18 years old to sign up, buy or enter into any agreement through the website or the platform.
What you must not do. You must not:
- interfere, or try to interfere, with the proper working of the website or the platform, or put an unreasonable load on our systems;
- try to break or get around our security, guess passwords, or send viruses or other harmful code;
- copy, scrape or index the website or the platform with bots, spiders or other automated tools, except through our documented API with your own API key;
- reverse engineer, decompile or copy the website or the platform, or use them to build a competing product;
- use them for anything unlawful, misleading, fraudulent or harmful, or to send spam;
- pretend to be someone else, or suggest that another website or business is connected with us when it is not; or
- upload or send anything that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, threatening or otherwise objectionable.
Our content. The website and the platform, including their text, design, software, logos and the Autonautics and Autonautics Lite names, belong to Anstel or its licensors and are protected by Indian and international intellectual property law. You may view and print pages for your own use. You must not otherwise copy, republish or adapt them without our written permission.
Copyright complaints. If you believe something on the website or the platform infringes your copyright, write to our grievance officer (section 8) with the work, the material you object to and why. We will act on it within the time Indian law requires.
Changes and availability. We may change, suspend or stop any part of the website at any time. We do not promise that the website will always be available or free of errors.
3. Using the platform
Accounts. Your business's administrator signs up for the platform, or Anstel or one of its partners sets it up for you. The administrator invites your users and decides what each can see and do. We may accept or refuse a sign-up at our discretion, for example if we cannot verify it.
Vehicle licences. The platform is sold as vehicle licences: one licence lets you track one vehicle for one year. The prices on our pricing page apply when you buy, currently ₹90 per vehicle a year plus GST, and add-ons are priced separately. We may change prices for new purchases and renewals; a change never affects a period you have already paid for.
GST. Prices are shown without GST unless they say otherwise. GST is charged at the rate in force under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 and the related state and integrated GST laws, and appears on our tax invoice. Give us your GSTIN when you sign up if you want to claim input tax credit.
Payment. You can pay online through our payment provider, Razorpay, by UPI, card, net banking or other methods it offers, including international cards. Razorpay's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment; we do not see or store your full card or bank details. Invoiced customers pay by bank transfer (NEFT, RTGS or IMPS) by the due date on the invoice, quoting the invoice number. A purchase starts only once payment is confirmed to us by the payment provider or received in our bank account.
Renewal, grace and pause. Licences run for one year from purchase. We remind you before they end. If you have not renewed by the end date, you get a grace period of 14 days, during which everything keeps working. After the grace period, live tracking, alerts and new reports stop for the unrenewed vehicles, but we keep their history for the history period you chose (section 5). Renewing at any time brings everything back.
Cancellations and refunds. You may stop using the platform at any time; licences then simply are not renewed. Licences are paid for a year in advance and, except where Indian law requires otherwise or a signed agreement says so, are not refundable once the platform is set up for you. If a payment is charged twice or by mistake, tell us within 30 days and we will refund it to the original payment method within 7 working days of confirming it.
Pilots, trials and beta features. Some features may be marked beta, or offered in a pilot or trial. They are still being developed, may change or stop, and may not work as expected. Use them at your own risk; section 6 applies to them in full.
Fair use. Use the platform for your own fleet operations. Do not resell access unless you are an approved Anstel partner under a partner agreement. We may set reasonable limits (for example on API calls, exports or messages) to keep the platform working well for everyone.
Changes to the platform. We improve the platform continually and may add, change or remove features. We will not remove a core feature you are paying for during your licence period without telling you in advance.
4. Your responsibilities
Accurate details. Give us accurate business, billing and contact details, including your GSTIN if you have one, and keep them up to date.
Keep sign-ins safe. Each user signs in with their own email and a one-time code or password. Keep sign-in details and API keys secret, and do not share accounts. We may treat anything done with your sign-in or API key as done by you. Tell us at once if you think someone else has used them.
Track lawfully, and tell your drivers. You decide which vehicles and people are tracked, so you are responsible for doing it lawfully. In particular you must:
- track only vehicles you own, lease or are authorised to manage;
- tell drivers and other people using the vehicles that they are tracked, what is recorded and why, and get their consent where the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 or any other law needs it;
- use location, driving and other data only for legitimate business purposes, and never to stalk, harass or unlawfully watch anyone; and
- answer requests from your drivers about their data, with our help where needed.
For personal data in your fleet's records, you decide why and how it is used, and Anstel processes it on your behalf and on your instructions, as our Privacy Policy explains.
Immobilising a vehicle. Where a relay is fitted, the platform can send a command that stops a vehicle's engine from starting or running. You are responsible for using it safely and lawfully: only by authorised staff, only when it is safe, and never on a moving vehicle where that could cause harm. The platform asks for confirmation and records who sent each command, but a command depends on the tracker, the mobile network and the vehicle, and may be delayed or fail. Anstel is not responsible for how or when you use it.
Hardware and SIMs. Trackers, relays and SIM cards, and their installation, are your responsibility or your installer's unless a separate agreement with Anstel says otherwise.
Prohibited use. Section 2's list of things you must not do applies to the platform too.
Indemnity. You will compensate Anstel, its officers, employees and partners for losses, costs and reasonable legal fees they incur because of a third party's claim arising from your breach of these terms, your unlawful use of the platform, or tracking you carried out without the notice or consent the law requires.
5. Your data, and when you leave
Your data stays yours. The vehicles, positions, trips, alerts, reports, drivers and other records you put into or generate on the platform ("your data") belong to you. You give Anstel permission to store, process, copy and display your data only as needed to run, secure, support and improve the platform for you, and as our Privacy Policy describes. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it. Position history is kept for the period your plan includes (30 days, or 3, 6 or 12 months, as agreed when you sign up) and then deleted automatically. Other records are kept while your account is open, unless you delete them.
Backups and security. We keep encrypted backups and protect your data with reasonable security practices. No system is perfectly secure; if a security breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
When you leave. If you stop using the platform, or your licences end and are not renewed, you can export your data (for example reports and CSV files) for 30 days after the end of your last licence or grace period. After that we delete your data from the platform, and from our backups as they cycle out within 35 days, except where the law requires us to keep something (for example tax invoices).
6. Limits of liability
Location data has limits. Tracking depends on GPS satellites, mobile networks, SIM cards, the tracker and its installation, and the vehicle's power. Positions can be inaccurate, delayed or missing, for example in tunnels, basements or areas with poor network coverage, or when a SIM is inactive or a tracker fails. The platform is a management tool, not an emergency or safety system: do not rely on it alone where a missed or late alert could put people or property at risk.
As is. To the extent Indian law allows, the website and the platform are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, always accurate or suitable for every purpose.
What we are not liable for. To the extent Indian law allows, Anstel is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data, however caused, including through SIM, hardware, network or GPS problems, or beta features.
Our total liability. To the extent Indian law allows, Anstel's total liability to you for all claims in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid Anstel for the platform in those 12 months.
Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
Events beyond our control. We are not responsible for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as network or power failures, actions of service providers, natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, war or government action.
7. Suspension, ending and general terms
Suspension. We may suspend or end access, for a user or a whole account, without notice where we reasonably believe it is needed to stop a breach of these terms, unlawful use, a security risk, or harm to anyone; otherwise we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to put things right. Unpaid licences are handled as in section 3.
Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with its date and, for changes that matter to paying clients, tell administrators by email at least 30 days before they apply. If you keep using the platform after that, the new terms apply.
Transfer. You may not transfer your account or these terms without our written consent. Anstel may transfer them to a company in its group or to a buyer of the Autonautics Lite business, and will tell you if it does.
Notices. We send notices by email to your administrator or show them in the platform. Send notices to us at the address in section 8.
General. If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies. A failure or delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. Headings are for convenience only.
Governing law and disputes. These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, we will first try to resolve it in good faith within 30 days of either side raising it in writing. Otherwise, the courts at Gurugram, Haryana, India have exclusive jurisdiction.
